OUR STORY
Began in Nature.
SENIK is not just a name. It is a small village in eastern Slovenia where our story began. When our founder Nataša inherited her godfather Albin's estate, she saw more than a house. She saw the marks of time.
Wood shaped by hands that understood the material. Objects created to last.
Rather than letting the house fade away, she brought it back to life. It became a beginning, a place where relationship with materials and design took shape. Today, we create boutique furniture and sculptural home art that carries this experience forward.

Nataša Majcen, PhD.
As the founder and managing director of Senik, Nataša Majcen guides the brand with a clear vision, balanced by a deep reverence for nature. Holding a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry, her advanced understanding of materials and sustainable processes forms the true foundation of our work.
This scientific precision ensures that every high-end piece is thoughtfully crafted to respect the environment while enduring for generations.

Jasna Štampfer
Jasna Štampfer approaches design through a sensitivity to material, proportion, and organic form.
Her work translates natural lines and sculptural softness into contemporary pieces with a refined and timeless presence.
The furniture collections draw subtle inspiration from Victorian elegance, reinterpreted through restrained forms, thoughtful proportions, and contemporary craftsmanship.
